Areas To Be Treated for Mosquitoes: Martinez

 

Due to the high number of mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control District will be using truck-mounted, ultra-low volume equipment to control adult mosquitoes on the evening of Monday, August 4th, 2025, in the following area(s): Martinez.


Time: Between dusk (approximately 7:50 p.m.) and 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by the Carquinez Strait and Suisun Bay; on the south by Embarcadero Street, Escobar Street, Marina Vista Avenue, and Waterfront Road; on the east by Pacheco Slough; and on the west by Embarcadero Street.

MATERIALS USED: The public health pesticide to be used is  Zenivex E4 RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted ultra-low volume equipment.
